A couple who owned a holiday park for 35 years have decided to sell and retire.
Michael and Kim Irwin bought Meadow View Park, in Ash Lane, Minster on Sea, in 1983.
The pair transformed the site from a 1950s camp to a modern holiday park for the over 50's with wind surfing, a golf club, a fitness centre and swimming pool.
Now, the site will be owned by Boswell Park Homes Ltd who plan to continue the park's use as a home for over 50s.
Mr Irwin said..."We have over the years changed the place from a run down 1950s holiday "Hi de Hi" camp into more modern holiday parks, club and hotel complex
"This has given us a lifetime of work but something we will always look back fondly on as a big part of our life for the last four decades!"
"But sadly we feel the time has now come to finally sell up and fully retire, something which we are really looking forward to."
Mrs Irwin said: "We both decided it was the right time to retire and take life at a slower pace".
"It will be sad to sell the park after so many years of being here.
"We are looking forward to spending our retirement years between our family home here in Minster and our holiday home in the sun in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife".
