It may seem a little premature, but preparations are already under way for the borough’s show-stopping Christmas pantomime.
Last Friday, the cast – which includes former The Bill actor Chris Simmons – met at The Swallows leisure centre in Sittingbourne, to get into costume and do their first full script reading.
This is the fifth year in a row national drama company Trio Entertainment have brought panto to Swale.
Following shows in Liverpool and Bolton, the cast and crew will travel to the town to begin a one week run from December 17.
Producer and director Kevin Brown said: “We’ve got two or three shows sold out already.
“Friday was the first time the cast met, but we won’t start full rehearsals until November.
“The show will have everything - pyrotechnics, magic tricks, pop songs, choreography and smoke effects.”
