A crash involving at least four vehicles caused delays on the A249.

The pile-up happened on the west-bound side between Keycol Hill and the Stockbury roundabout just before 5pm.

Emergency services were called to the scene, near Sittingbourne & Milton Regis Golf Club.

The road was blocked until around 8pm. Traffic has since cleared.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a collision involving four vehicles on the A249, Sittingbourne, at 4.40pm on Saturday 24 February 2018.

"Officers attended the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service, where a woman was taken to hospital with reportedly minor injuries."
