A route near a primary school was sealed off following a two-car crash.

Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene in Park Road, Sittingbourne, at about 12.40pm today.

It is understood the thoroughfare was also been closed at its other end near Minterne Community Junior School.

A police spokesman said: "We attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue.

"We assisted with traffic management and the recovery of the vehicles."

It is understood no one sustained any serious injuries.

Emergency services left the scene just before 3.30pm.
