An appeal has been made to landowners to help make a fundraiser bigger and better than ever before.
Since it was launched in July 2011, Iwade Rock has been held in the grounds of the village hall in Ferry Road.
The festival-style day of live music also includes a bar, bouncy castle, face painting, barbecue, chocolate fountain, ice cream van and stalls.
But it has now reached a point where a larger venue is required. And the clock is ticking – a new site needs to be found by March.
Organiser Keith Reynolds, who lives in Mallard Crescent, said: “Last year there was more than 800. It’s not a bad thing because it’s all for charity but I need to find somewhere that’s bigger, like a field, preferably in the village.
“An acre of land would be good then we can have about 1,500 people.
“We have liability insurance so the owner doesn't need to worry.”
