There is another good reason to go to the January sales - JD Wetherspoon is putting its beers on offer.
Pub goers across the county can enjoy its bargain brews from today until Thursday, January 17.
Drinks in the sale include craft beer Shipyard (£2.29), Coors Light lager (£2.49), Strongbow Dark Fruit and Magners ciders (£1.89), Guinness (£2.99), Coldwater Creek wines (£1.80 a glass), Gordon’s gin (£1.85), Smirnoff vodka.
Soft drinks such as Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, ting (grapefruit crush), Pepsi Max, R Whites Lemonade, diet Pepsi and San Pellegrino (lemon and blood orange, 89p) are also included.
A spokesman for the chain said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub, too. The range should suit a wide variety of tastes.”
But before you all rush with your wallets he warned: “As always, staff will serve customers responsibly.”
Ale aficionados can get their hands on a cut-price pint at all Wetherspoons across the country, excluding those in airports.
