Rav's stalker given suspended prison sentence

A 24-year-old woman has been handed a suspended prison sentence after being found guilty of harassing TV presenter Rav Wilding.

Toneeta Beckford, appeared before Warley Magistrates Court in the West Midlands in April charged with harassment after leaving abusive messages on Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding's social networking pages.

At a sentencing hearing on Friday, Beckford, who lives in the West Midlands, was given a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

She has also been told not to contact the Crimewatch presenter.

Mr Wilding, who attended Fulston Manor School in Sittingbourne, told the court the messages started appearing on his Facebook and Twitter pages
