A museum at Milton Regis Court Hall has officially reopened.
The historic venue, which was originally used as a civic centre, closed in 2006.
Its rehabilitation as a visitor attraction is thanks to the Friends of Milton Regis Court Hall (FMRCH), a registered charity which took over the building’s lease last May.
The museum will open between 10am and 4pm every Saturday until September 26.
Attractions include a mammoth’s tusk, but the building itself is the real star, according to FMRCH trustee and secretary, Paul David.
Entry is free and is open for group visits by appointment.
