Sittingbourne boss Richard Brady has stunned the club by accepting the vacant manager’s job at Leatherhead.
Brady’s assistant Jamie Coyle will also be making the move to Ryman League Premier Division strugglers.
A statement on the Sittingbourne website on Monday night said: "We are sorry to announce that Richard Brady and his assistant have decided reluctantly to accept an offer from Leatherhead Football Club to manage their team.
“Richard and Jamie have described their contract terms as too good to turn down and they are certainly way above the terms that Sittingbourne FC are in a position to offer.”
Leatherhead are currently bottom of the table with only one point from eight games which led to them sacking manager Mick Sullivan a week ago.
Brady will take charge of the Brickies for the final time against Walton Casuals in the Ryman League Division 1 South game on Tuesday night.
An announcement regarding his replacement is expected to follow shortly.
“We would like to thank them for their efforts on behalf of the club and wish them well for the future,” the statement added.
