A road was partially blocked after a car lost its wheel, resulting in lengthy delays.

Police were called to the scene next to the Stockbury Roundabout near Sittingbourne.

One lane of the A249 was blocked and traffic was slow at the scene.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 3.13pm to a report of a car which had lost a wheel while driving near the Stockbury roundabout on the A249.

"No injuries have been reported. Officers are at the scene assisting."
