A road has been reopened after a serious crash involving a lorry and a motorbike.
Emergency services including two fire engines were sent to the Old Sheppey Way at Bobbing, near Sittingbourne, just before midday.
Firefighters were joined by police and critical care paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Fire crews had to used air bags to release a casualty, who has now been flown to London's King's College Hospital.
The accident, which has been described by police as "serious", happened near the junction with Bramblefield Lane.
A police spokesman said: "A man who was riding the motorcycle has been airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.
"Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are at the scene carrying out inquiries."
The road was closed from the Dancing Dog Saloon at Bobbing to the Featherbed Farm Shop in Iwade.
It reopened at 5pm.
