Delays have now cleared following an earlier crash involving two cars and a van on the A249.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the Maidstone-bound carriageway, about 300 yards before the Stockbury Roundabout, at 4pm.

A police spokesman said the South East Coast Ambulance Service had also been called and no serious injuries had been reported.

One lane was closed while officers dealt with the incident.

The road was fully open and traffic had cleared by 8pm.
