Tributes have been paid to a shopkeeper who has died from suspected coronavirus.
It is thought Adeola Onasanya died after contracting the condition.
It is understood he ran Deola Food Store in North Street, Milton Regis, near Sittingbourne, where flowers have been left outside.
In a Facebook message posted on behalf of Mr Onasanya's cousin, Kola Ka Adesina, he says the virus is hitting home "closer and harder".
It reads: "I am crying, shouting and bawling.
"I just lost my cousin Adeola Onasanya of Deola foods in Sittingbourne to this dreadful disease.
"Going to miss you Dee RIP.
"Please people, save yourselves, stay indoors. May his soul rest in peace."
Cllr Tony Winckless (Lab) learned of the tragedy from another shopkeeper in the area.
He said: "It's very sad news that we've lost a resident of Milton Regis and people have to got to be very careful.
"They should keep themselves safe and if they've any signs, make sure they self-isolate and if they get more serious, seek medical help."
A tenant, Golade Kalpde, paid tribute to someone who she said was caring, adding: "He was a good man."
