The streets of Bobbing were lit up as dozens of people took part in an annual fundraiser.
Demelza Hospice Care for Children held its Candlelight Walk on Sunday and raised £894.
It started at the site in Rook Lane, Bobbing, with all the guests singing carols, led by a choir from Sittingbourne Community College.
Everyone was then given an LED candle to carry round the streets on a short half- hour walk.
En-route the children were greeted by Santa and some of his elves. It was then back to the starting point for hot chocolate and mince pies and a chance to have a go on the tombola and browse the stalls.
Father Christmas also made the journey back to base on his sleigh where he spent time having photos taken with the kids in his grotto.
The proceeds will be used to support more than 800 children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and their families in Kent, East Sussex and South East London.
Community fundraiser Hannah Shotton said: “It was such a lovely atmosphere and everyone seemed to have such a really nice time.
“It’s always so nice to watch the line of lights making its way back along the lane as people return to the hospice to warm up with refreshments.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to all those families who joined us and of course to the college’s choir, who sang beautifully and really set the mood for the evening.”
