Sittingbourne boss Gary Abbott saw his side lose their unbeaten home record in Ryman League Division 1 South on Saturday

A second-half goal from Jason Pinnock condemned Ryman League Division 1 South Sittingbourne to their first home defeat of the season.

Brickies manager Gary Abbott, pictured, will have been pleased with Adam Cotterell, who made a solid Brickies debut withsome accurate long-range passing and crisp tackles, while Billy Manners and Matt Bourne were firm in the home side's central defence.

But Sittingbourne were forced to substitute the injured Manners immediately after the break and, in a game of few chances, Pinnock accepted the one that mattered when he converted a 63rd-minute cross by Aaron Murphy.

This Saturday the Brickies are away to Ryman League Division 1 South leaders Folkestone Invicta in the FA Cup first qualifying round.
