Sittingbourne boosted their Ryman League Division 1 South playoff credentials with a comfortable 4-1 win over Corinthian Casuals at Bourne Park on Saturday.
The margin of victory could have been even wider as Tom Bradbrook saw a penalty saved and Elie Kayembe hit the woodwork.
Kayembe had already hit the post when he intercepted a backpass and slipped the ball past Luke Naughton on 24 minutes to put the Brickies ahead.
It was 2-0 within four minutes when Kayembe and Jimmy Bottle combined to set-up Bradbrook, pictured, to fire home, and Bradbrook made it 3-0 on 69 minutes with a header.
Casuals pulled one back within a minute through a Kane Sergeant free-kick but Hicham Akhazzan restored the three-goal advanatage straight from the restart as three goals were scored inside two minutes.
Bradbrook saw his chance of a hat-trick denied when Naughton saved his late spot-kick.
Gary Abbott's side now lie 10th but have several games in hand on the sides above them in the play-off hunt.
