Sittingbourne assistant manager Jamie Coyle is hoping to be able to return to the side for the home game with Ryman League Division 1 South joint-leaders Bognor on Saturday.

Coyle missed the 1-0 defeat against tenants Maidstone on Wednesday, after breaking a rib in the FA Cup win against Peacehaven & Telscombe last weekend.

The match, abandoned the week before was again interrupted by floodlight problems at Bourne Park.

Bognor will also provide the Brickies’ next FA Cup opponents in the first qualifying round in Sussex a week on Saturday.

Coyle said: "Richard (Brady) and myself have played against Bognor a number of times and they are a good side, but there were a lot of positives for us from Wednesday’s game and if we play like that on Saturday we can get something out of the game."
