Sittingbourne's Liam Doran returns to Lydden for the start of his European Rallycross Championship this weekend, but will be hoping to avoid a repeat of his spectacular crash last time out.
Doran, 24, was involved in a horrifying accident in the British Championship last month, although he has better memories of his European debut last year when he won twice and finished third.
And the KHM Citroën driver's boss, Kenneth Hansen, has plenty of confidence in his racer.
He said: "Liam is the perfect driver for us because he is so fast. You can’t teach anyone that but he has worked well with the whole team."
Stockbury’s James Dixon, meanwhile, led from lights to flag to clinch victory in the fourth race of the Renault Clio Cup at Donington. Dixon also claimed a second place finish and is second in the championship.
Dixon said: "We’ve had a win at Brands and now at Donington so I’m happy. I need to keep scoring to close the gap."
