Joe Dowley has been handed the manager’s role at Bourne Park on a permanent basis.
The 28-year-old – who has come through the ranks as a player at the club over the past 15 years – had a 10-game spell in caretaker charge before being asked by chairman Andy Spice to take on the job permanently on Sunday.
Dowley (pictured) said: "I was pleased when Andy phoned and asked me. I’ve enjoyed the 10 games so far and hopefully now we can get a win and get going again."
Despite being one of the youngest managers in the game, Dowley added: "It doesn’t bother me. You need the respect of the players, if you have that it doesn’t matter if you’re 28 or 48."
