Emergency services were called after a man lost two fingers in an accident at a building site this morning.
A man in his 50s is understood to have been rushed to Medway Maritime Hospital after the incident off Staplehurst Road, Sittingbourne.
An ambulance and rapid response car arrived at Redrow's Archers Park development at around 8.30am.
The company declined to say how the accident happened.
A spokesman said: “We can confirm that there has been an incident on site this morning and an ambulance was called.
"We take the health and safety of those working on site very seriously and a full investigation will be carried out.”
