Drivers are facing disruption through the morning rush after after a closure was enforced on the M2.

One lane is currently shut on the coastbound carriageway near junction five for Sittingbourne, with the entry-slip also closed, sparking lengthy queues in surrounding areas.

Highways England says the closure has been made for emergency repairs.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys where possible.
