Motorists are being warned the London-bound slip road onto the M2 at junction 5, Sittingbourne, is closed.

A lorry overturned on the slip road at around 2.45pm, causing no injuries. There was a fuel spillage, which has been dealt with. Vehicle recovery services are due to arrive at the scene soon to remove the fully-laden lorry.

The slip road is expected to re-open at around 4.30pm. In the meantime, motorists are advised to use alternatives routes, such as the M20, to reach the M2.
