Smoke alarm alerts householders to oven fire in Kemsing

A smoke alarm alerted householders to an oven fire at a house in Kemsing.

Fire crews were called to the home in Fairfield Close at just before 3pm today.

The occupants were alerted by a smoke alarm after the fire broke out in the oven.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out the blaze.
