Eurolink Industrial Estate and Kemsley Fields Business Park workers urged to take part in survey

Workers on the Eurolink and Kemsley Fields Business Parks are being asked their views on public transport.

The Quality Bus Partnership (QBP) is launching a survey of employees about the potential for an improved bus service in both areas.

Made up of Swale council, Kent County Council (KCC) and commercial bus operators, the partnership aims to encourage the use of public transport in and around the borough of Swale to help the public get around more easily, reduce the effects traffic congestion on the economic and improve air quality by reducing exhaust emissions.

Cllr Mike Cosgrove, cabinet member for regeneration, said: “If we can work together to provide better bus services, not only can it make life easier for the people who work on these estates, but it could also reduce traffic in the area. This is why we need to hear directly from the people who work there, so we can make sure the service best meets their needs.”

The survey closes on Friday, July 31 and the results will be analysed and considered at the next meeting of the Quality Bus Partnership.
