Actors from the Stars Wars trilogy and Doctor Who are coming to Sittingbourne this weekend.
They will attend a sci-fi event at the Swallows Leisure Centre, Central Avenue, on July 28 and 29.
Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be appearances from David Prowse, who played Darth Vader, Jeremy Bulloch, who was Boba Fett, Tim Rose, better known as Sy Snootles/Admiral Akbar/Selacious B, Alan Flyn, an imperial officer and Mike Edmonds - one of the Ewoks.
The following day sees Tony Philpott, who played Jabba the Hut; Anthony Forrest, who was a storm trooper/imperial officer and Peter Roy, who appeared as one of the wing commanders in The Empire Strikes Back. He was also a policeman in Doctor Who.
Also appearing is Paul Markham who can be seen in the loading bay area in episode 6 Return of the Jedi.
There will also be 20 lookalikes of speeders, storm troopers and Anakin Skywalker on both days.
A full-size Dalek will be there on Sunday.
The convention, organised by DTC events, is open between 10am and 4pm on both days.
There will also be around 50 stalls selling arts, crafts and gifts.
A donation from the money raised through stall bookings will go to Demelza Hospice Care for Children which has a facility in Rook Lane, Bobbing.
Around 2,000 visitors are expected to attend the free event.
There is a £3 fee to park all day in the leisure centre car park.
