Youngsters made sure they will always be remembered when they prepared a time capsule.
The pupils at Teynham Primary School put together the capsule full of memorabilia of the school and the village which will be buried at the Jubilee Memorial on London Road later this year.
Work has begun on repairing the memorial after it was destroyed by a stolen car last November.
The final restoration figure is set to top £25,500 and is covered by insurance.
Work will be done by Borden-based builders Gransden Construction.
