A teenager got his arm wedged between two conveyor belts at an industrial estate in Sittingbourne.
Firefighters were called to a business in Bingham Road, part of the Eurolink Industrial Centre, at 6.10pm yesterday.
They found the 19-year-old with his arm trapped in a small gap.
Crew manager Kev Ford said: "There were two conveyor belts with a 2 to 3in gap between them.
"We prised them apart with a crowbar. It only took about 20 minutes."
The young man was taken to hospital but is believed to have escaped serious injury.
