An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault in Sittingbourne High Street.

Police were called after a 20-year-old man was attacked after leaving a nightclub at about 3am on Saturday, February 4.

He was left with a broken ankle.

A police spokesman said officers had today arrested a man from Faversham on suspicion of assault.

He has been bailed until Thursday, March 23 while inquiries continue.
