An 18-year-old has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death.
Officers were called at 1.36am on Wednesday after a man had been attacked at a property off College Road, Sittingbourne.
Two forensic vans, two police cars, and a private ambulance were in the area on the same day.
Police and forensics were seen going into a property in Medway Close, which is off College Road.
David Perry, aged 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rohan Daniels, 18, was arrested and an investigation is being led by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
On Thursday, the Crown Prosecution Service authorised a charge of murder against Daniels.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded back into custody.
The case was sent for trial at Maidstone Crown Court, where he will next appear on June 12 2023.
