A bride's preparations for her big day have been thrown into turmoil after thieves stole her wedding shoes.
Kim Cragen, 29, says the specially made £150 pink lace-trimmed shoes were stolen from the boot of her Mercedes car.
It was broken into outside her home in Troya Avenue on Redrow's Archers Park, Sittingbourne, on Monday night.
The break-in was the latest in a series of similar crimes in the area.
Kim, who is assistant site manager for Redrow Homes, said: "I'm gutted. They also stole my purse with our honeymoon money in it and my six-year-old son's iPad."
She and fiance Steve Karitzis are to tie the knot at Maidstone's Orangery tomorrow.
Kim added: "Police told me it was likely an organised gang had been breaking into cars around the area using cloned keys."
Neighbours have posted CCTV photos of young boys wearing masks and riding bikes on the estate's Facebook page.
Police said they received a call about the theft but were unable to confirm there had been others.
A spokesman said: "At present no suspects have been identified. Anyone with information should call us on 01795 419119 quoting reference XY/44119/19."
He added: "To reduce the chances of becoming a victim to this type of crime ensure your vehicle is locked, with the alarm on, when it is left unattended remove any valuable items from view and place them in the boot if you need to leave your vehicle, park in a secure car park or well-lit location whenever possible and in a garage if available, remove items from the vehicle overnight, wipe away sat nav suction marks from the windscreen."
