A vehicle dealership is the latest victim of a spate of burglaries and attempted break-ins across the town.
Three large glass windows were smashed at JCB in St Michael’s Road, Sittingbourne, between February 11-13.
Over the past 15 months, the News Extra has been made aware of more than 520 incidents. The latest ones are as follows:
Copper fittings were stolen from a business unit in Parsonage Lane, Bobbing, between February 12-13 – XY/005401/14.
Between 9.30am and 3.45pm on February 14, criminal damage was caused to an entrance during a burglary in Clive Road, Sittingbourne – XY/005599/14.
A burglary was reported between February 10-12 in Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne – XY/005339/14.
Two bicycles were stolen from a garden shed in Clive Road, Sittingbourne. They were last seen on January 17 –XY/005864/14.
Between 11am and 10pm on February 17, an apartment above retail units in Grove Park shopping centre, Gadby Road, Sittingbourne, was broken into and items of value stolen – XY/005942/14.
Various power tools and a red roller cabinet were stolen from a garage in Thistle Walk, Murston, between February 17-18 – XY/005961/14.
A TV was stolen from one of two garages broken into in Aubretia Walk, Sittingbourne, between February 14-18 –XY/006027/14; XY/006023/14.
An attempted burglary in Foxgrove, Milton Regis, was discovered on February 22 – XY/006707/14.
A garden shed was burgled between February 20-21 in Sunnybank, Murston. Power tools were stolen – XY/006377/14.
Items were stolen during a burglary of an insecure property in Rock Road, Sittingbourne. This happened between 7pm and 9.30pm on February 20 – XY/006325/14.
A garden shed was burgled between February 20-21 in Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne – XY/006555/14.
