A tractor trailer overturned and shed its load of manure this afternoon, causing traffic delays.

Sheppey Way in Sittingbourne is closed to traffic between Key Street roundabout and McDonald's after the crash happened at 2.22pm.

Police were called to the Key Street roundabout following a report that a trailer had overturned, blocking the carriageway.

A spokesman said: "Officers are on scene to manage traffic.

"No injuries have been reported."

The tractor and trailer have now been cleared and the road is open.
