There is slow-moving traffic on both the north and southbound carriageways of the A249 between the Kemsing exit and the Sheppey Bridge.

But the road has been re-opened, say police.

A car on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway collided with a crash barrier at 4.51pm. One lane was closed while the incident was dealt with. No injuries have been reported.
