A number of travellers have moved onto the grounds of Gore Court Cricket Club in Sittingbourne.

The park, off A2 Key Street, now has four large caravans and a transit parked there.

According to eyewitnesses, the group has also put out garden furniture.

This comes a week after a group set up in Sonora Fields, and were moved on the authorities.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police has been made aware of a number of caravans that have arrived on land in London Road, Sittingbourne.

"Officers have liaised with the local council who own the land."
