An award-winning restaurant and cocktail bar has closed while it undergoes refurbishments.
Turkish eatery Galata Mezze and Bar, in Station Street, Sittingbourne, has closed its doors temporarily while it goes ahead with the changes.
The restaurant, which opened in October 2019, first revealed an ambitious plan to renovate in December last year.
It announced it was aiming to ditch its existing canopy and replace it with a light structure with glass panels to create more tables on its esplanade.
The eatery also made the headlines in March last year when one of its chefs, Tacim Yetis, scooped the chef of the year prize in the 10th annual British Kebab awards.
A reopening date is yet to be announced.
