Lola, a Mini Rex rabbit from Sittingbourne, has appeared in a Pets at Home television advert.

The bunny (pictured) was chosen from thousands of entries after owner Joanne , entered a short video showing off Lola’s best party trick – walking on her hind legs to get a vegetable treat from her 12-year-old daughter Hayley.

She said: “Hayley is over the moon that Lola’s clever tricks have made it onto national TV.

“Lola loves her food and Hayley has managed to train her to come over when she is called and even jump over little hurdles.

“We can’t wait to see our star pet on TV over the coming weeks!”

The campaign focuses on the retailer’s Groom Room, which offers a range of grooming services within its stores.

It also looks at its Vets4Pets practice, which houses a full operating theatre, digital X-ray facilities, laboratory and a hospital ward providing a treatments from health checks to emergency operations.
