Two boys were arrested within 20 minutes of a burglary being reported.

Officers were on patrol in Doddington, Sittingbourne at 5pm on Monday when they were called to a home in Church Lane.

Having received a description of some suspects, they arrested two 16-year-old boys at 5.20pm.

The teenagers were taken into custody and have since been bailed until Saturday, July 8 pending further inquiries.
