A person was taken to hospital after a crash forced the closure of a village road.
Police were called to the collision, involving two cars, in Oak Road in Upchurch, near Sittingbourne, at 11.50am this morning.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
"A road closure was put in place while the incident was attended to. No serious injuries were reported."
The ambulance service was called to the crash at around midday.
A spokesman added: "Ambulance crews attended the scene and one person was assessed and treated before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital."
Kent Police Swale tweeted to alert motorists to the road closure at about 1.15pm and said officers were looking to get the road reopened as soon as possible.
