Teens charged with burglary and robbery following theft of car from Adelaide Drive in Sittingbourne

Police have arrested and charged two teenagers following the theft of a car in Sittingbourne.

Neighbours caught on camera the theft of a BMW on Monday, March 20 after crooks targeted the house belonging to the family of Joella Bosworth in Adelaide Drive.

They started filming after noticing people behaving suspiciously across the road and called the police.

Patrick Ward, 18 from Balham, and a 17-year-old from Willesden were arrested in Essex on Monday, March 27.

The pair have been charged with burglary and robbery following the investigations into a robbery in Priory Hill in Dartford on March 21, where jewellery and money was taken, and the Sittingbourne car theft.

They were remanded in custody and were due to appear before Medway magistrates today.
