Two crashes on opposite sides of the A249 are causing long tailbacks this evening.
The first accident happened at 4.30pm Maidstone-bound near the Bobbing slip road when a car collided with a lorry.
An ambulance spokesman said:"There is one patient - an adult male - with minor injuries who was able to get out of the car himself.
"He is conscious but complaining of spinal pain so he may be taken to hospital."
The second crash happened about half an hour later on the A249 northbound near the junction with the A250 for Queenborough.
Drivers are reporting long tailbacks in both directions.
