Police gave first aid to two men in an overturned car following a crash outside their station this morning.
A blue Mercedes C-Class collided with a tree and landed on its roof in Central Avenue at around 1.20am.
Police officers were first on the scene, walking from their building and giving first aid to the driver and passenger.
Firefighters from the Sittingbourne station were initially called as the car was smoking but when they arrived they assisted with first aid and making the area safe.
The two occupants, thought to be 29 and 34, were both taken by ambulance to hospital.
It is believed one of them had suffered a severe head injury while the other a serious shoulder injury.
