Two men have been arrested following a serious assault in which a 33-year-old delivery driver sustained head and face injuries.

The victim was assaulted outside the Co-op store in London Road, Teynham, in the early hours of Saturday, May 8.

A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from the Teynham area, were arrested yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, May 12) in Sittingbourne on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Both men are currently being questioned at Sittingbourne police station.
