Police and ambulance crews are at the scene of a collision near the Stockbury roundabout.

Officers were called at 8.49am to the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway of the A249, between Detling Hill and the M2 junction.

One lane of the carriageway has been closed.

One ambulance crew attended after reports were received of a woman with a shoulder injury and a minor hand injury.

She was checked over at the scene and discharged after being referred for a check up later at hospital.

Delays are expected in the area.
