Oh no he isn't, Oh yes he is - Christopher Biggins will attend a charity event this weekend in aid of a hospital overseeing the care of a little girl who is battling a rare form of cancer.
The 2007 winner of ITV's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is expected to arrive at The Swan pub in London Road, Teynham, at 7pm tomorrow (Saturday) to lend his support to the fun day organised by the family of Laila-May Scully.
The 19-month-old was diagnosed seven weeks ago with a Wilms' tumour on her right kidney, and underwent an operation last Tuesday to remove her kidney.
Her parents Katie Finch, 21, and John Scully, 24, of Cherry Gardens, Teynham, had raised concerns with medics about a lump they discovered in her stomach early last year but were assured there was nothing to worry about.
When Katie's mum Rita Phipps was babysitting in May this year she thought the lump was more pronounced and the family urged doctors to investigate further.
The toddler was admitted to Ashford's William Harvey Hospital on June 2 where she was diagnosed with the tumour and transferred to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London the same day to start chemotherapy.
About 70 children develop a Wilms' tumour in the UK each year and in most cases the cause is unknown.
Mum Katie said: "We want to give something back to the Marsden for everything they've done.
"I wouldn't want anyone else to got through what we've been through but if we can help someone else then we will do it
"We're amazed at how well she has coped with it. It's a hard thing to go through but to see her bounce back makes us happy."
The day kicks off at 2pm with dad John and Laila-May's half brother Kyle, five, shaving their hair off.
A friend of the family will also offer people the chance to rip a waxing strip off his body in exchange for a £5 donation.
Other activities include a tombola, auction, raffle, face painting, BBQ, karaoke and a pool tournament. Entry is free.
