They'll be Dancing In The Moonlight at this year's Party In The Park.
After the success of last year's experiment with headline act East 17, organisers have booked Toploader as special guests at the Sittingbourne spectacular which raises funds for The Appleyard (formerly UK Leisure).
The British alternative rock band from Eastbourne, East Sussex, was formed in 1997 and had a top 10 hit with Dancing In The Moonlight in 2000.
They had begun playing with Coldplay and Muse in small venues across the UK.
The current line-up contains four of the five original members: singer Joseph Washbourn (who also plays keyboards, organ, piano and acoustic guitar), guitarist Dan Hipgrave, drummer Rob Green and Matt Knight on bass.
It was while they were playing the Kings Head pub in Fulham that Paul Weller (ex-The Jam) turned up and offered them a support slot on his arena tour.
Guitarist Dan told website MusoMuso: "It was us, then Noel Gallagher and then Paul Weller. I mean, could it get any better? And this was our first tour!”
They went on to play with Robbie Williams and Bon Jovi and were the last British band to play in the original Wembley Stadium.
Once again, local lads Marylebone Jelly will close the show at the Appleyard sports ground on Saturday, June 27.
Last year, on one of the hottest days of the year, they went down a storm with giant beach balls and special effects despite suffering a temporary power cut at the start of their set and an unexpected stage invasion by an over-excitable fan towards the end.
Gates open at 2pm. The line-up also features the Harry Evans Band, The Choos, Resonate and the Curb Pilots.
There will be fairground rides, inflatables, food and drink.
A limited number of £15 early bird tickets (£10 members, £5 children) have just gone on sale and will be available until Tuesday, March 10, on a first come, first served basis. To book, call 01795 427852.
Regular prices will be £18 (£13 members, £8 children). Family tickets for two adults and two children are £45 (£35 members).
