A YOUNG woman, alleged to have stabbed a mother-to-be, denied attempted murder when she appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday.

Kimberley Gordon, 24, of Walsby Drive, Sittingbourne, is to stand trial on January 2 next year.

She is accused of trying to kill Mary Beth Bishop who was eight months pregnant at the time of the alleged offence, in July.

Gordon had been remanded in custody but was bailed by a judge last month to live at an address in Woden Avenue, Heathlands, Stanway, Colchester, Essex.
