A woman has been taken to hospital after falling from height.
Emergency services launched a search and rescue operation near Sittingbourne last night following a report of the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing police, fire services, and search and rescue volunteers near Ruins Barn Road in the evening.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 4.30pm yesterday to a location near Ruins Barn Road, Tunstall.
"Officers attended and assisted ambulance and fire services with locating a woman who was then passed into the care of medical teams."
A fire services spokesman confirmed that the woman was injured during a fall.
He said: "We were called to support South East Coast Ambulance Service's hazardous area response team (HART) with the incident at Ruins Barn Road, Sittingbourne.
"Our techincial rescue team assisted in was the rescue of an injured person following a fall from height."
The condition of the woman is not known. Ambulance services have been contacted for comment.
