Participants in a 12-hour darts marathon aiming to hit a fundraising target finished on a double by raising twice their goal.
Luke Wood, of Raite Green, Sittingbourne, needed £400 to enable him to go on a sky dive in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children, but generous punters at Milton Regis Conservative Club donated £800 to the trip.
The extra money will be going towards his final total, which he hopes will reach £1,000.
Players continuously threw at two darts boards from 10am to 10pm on Saturday with scores tallied as they went along.
They managed 320,732 points overall, with Alec Provan managing the only 180.
There were 10 people who took part from start to finish with others stepping up to the oches along the way.
Mr Wood, who works for Natwest, said: “I turned 30 this year and I wanted to do something drastic for charity to celebrate and Demelza is a local charity that’s big in the local area so I thought it was the charity to do it for.”
A raffle with prizes donated by local companies proved to be the main contribution to the final total while quizzes were also held.
A sponsorship form for the sky dive is available at the Conservative Club, in Church Street, Milton Regis.
