Aslan Odev wants to appoint a sports psychologist to give Sittingbourne an edge next season.
The Brickies boss believes it's a move that will help his squad make an impact in Bostik South East.
He said: "I'm very much into improving the attitudes of players and people around the club.
"Everybody can run and kick a ball but are you able to concentrate for 95 minutes and are you prepared to give everything to win that game?
"I want players who will do their best in every game and players who want to go higher and so does the club."
Odev feels his young squad would embrace a sports psychologist.
He added: "It's something I've always welcomed.
"It's a fairly new-school approach but if it helps, brilliant.
"Even if doesn't, we've given it a go and we haven't lost anything.
"There's no negatives to bringing someone in who gives us new ideas.
"We're always looking to improve and it would be a learning curve for me, too."
Odev is also sifting through more than 30 applications for a strength and conditioning coach and trying to help the club off the pitch with marketing and branding.
He said: "I'm just organising a few bits and pieces and looking to bring in a few extra staff members to start carrying out my vision of how I'd like the club to be.
"The No.1 thing for me is to feel like a more professional club.
"It's not that we aren't professional already, I just feel we can add a few things that will give us better foundations to achieve what we want as a club."
