Aslan Odev is loving management despite losing his first four games in charge at Sittingbourne.

Caretaker boss Odev goes for his first win when the Brickies host Walton Casuals in a rearranged Bostik South game tonight.

It's been a tough start in terms of results but Odev appreciates the support he's had on the terraces and in the boardroom.

He said: "I'm loving it. I'd like the results to go in Sittingbourne's favour, that's the only thing that hasn't gone the way I envisaged it.

"The fans have been great to me - I truly and utterly want to thank them - and the board have been great to me as well.

"I'm loving every second of it, it's what I want to do.

"Nothing's changed in that department.

"I'm always trying to learn and the biggest thing for me right now is building a foundation and working hard until things go our way."

Odev is confident his young side will learn from their run of defeats.

He said: "It's OK because we'll grow from it, we've got a few young players who are still learning their trade and still trying to understand what needs to be done in the game of football, what you do, what you don't do and how you react in certain situations.

"Every time we lose or things don't go our way, that's fine, we just work harder. We'll get there."
